Understanding the Problem

The Challenge

Many individuals struggle with managing their finances, academic workload, and mental well-being due to a lack of accessible guidance and resources. Existing solutions are often scattered across multiple platforms, making it difficult for users to find a seamless way to improve their financial literacy, academic performance, and mental health. The goal was to create an all-in-one platform that simplifies access to these essential support systems.

Monee is a comprehensive platform designed to support users in financial literacy, academics, and mental health. It provides seamless access to learning and advising sessions, helping individuals make informed decisions, improve their skills, and enhance their overall well-being—all within a user-friendly app.

Methodology & Process
Followed a user-centered design approach, incorporating research, ideation, prototyping, and testing to ensure Monee effectively addresses users' needs.
 

Research & Ideation

  • Conducted user interviews to understand challenges in financial literacy, academics, and mental well-being.

  • Analyzed existing educational, financial, and mental health apps to identify gaps in usability and accessibility.

  • Developed problem and vision statements to align design goals with user needs.

Design & Prototyping

  • Created wireframe sketches to visualize layouts.

  • Designed low-fidelity wireframes for initial usability testing.
